package (6.3 ounces) NEAR EAST Mediterranean Chicken Flavor Pilaf with Wild Rice Mix

cup raisins

ounces boneless, skinless chicken breast halves (about 3), cut into 1-inch pieces

tablespoons honey

tablespoons lemon juice

teaspoon cinnamon or ground cloves

cups chopped red apples

cup chopped toasted walnuts

tablespoons chopped fresh parsley (optional)
Preparation Steps
- Prepare rice pilaf mix according to package directions, except stir in raisins when adding rice to boiling water.
- Meanwhile, in large skillet, heat oil over medium-high heat. Add chicken; cook 3 minutes. Add honey, lemon juice and cinnamon; cook about 3 more minutes, stirring frequently, or until chicken is no longer pink inside.
- Once rice is cooked, stir in apples and walnuts. Spoon chicken over bed of rice. Sprinkle with parsley, if desired.
