Preparation Steps

  1. Prepare Near East rice according to package directions except omit butter or olive oil.
  2. Meanwhile, in medium skillet, heat oil over medium heat. Cook onions and peppers for 1 to 2 minutes or until tender.
  3. Stir in cooked vegetables, cooked beef and salsa into prepared pilaf; mix well.
