Preparation Information

Range Top Directions:

  1. In a 2-quart saucepan, bring 2 cups water, 2 teaspoons olive oil or butter, grains and Spice Sack to a boil.
  2. Reduce heat to low.
  3. COVER; simmer 25 to 30 minutes or until most of the liquid is absorbed.
  4. Makes 2-l/2 cups

Cooking Tips:

  1. Accurate heat level and cooking with lid on are important for best results.
  2. DO NOT MICROWAVE!

High Altitude Preparation

  1. At high altitudes, cook uncovered, increase water to 2-1/2 cups and cook time to 35 to 40 minutes.

Low Fat Directions
